Sodon's Electric legacy spans more than seven decades. Founded in 1947 by John W. Sodon (Jack) after his service in the U.S. Navy, the company began as a trusted residential electrical contractor serving Monmouth County from its Navesink location. In 1954, Jack welcomed his brother as a partner, establishing a true family business. Shortly thereafter, operations moved to Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey, where the company thrived for over 70 years.

Over time, Sodon’s Electric transformed from a residential contractor into one of the region’s leading electrical contractors, serving both residential and commercial markets as an IBEW signatory contractor. We successfully deliver projects across private, utility, commercial, public, and healthcare sectors, earning a reputation for quality and reliability.

In 2025, the company entered an exciting new chapter: our name evolved to Sodon Electric, and we became part of Kiely Family of Companies. With this transition, we relocated to Long Branch, New Jersey, continuing our tradition of excellence while embracing innovation and growth.
